Every woman has a couple guilty pleasures, especially pregnant women. It’s important to indulge in your favorite ice cream or a new pair of maternity jeans or some gossip magazines. At Belly Dance Maternity we like to indulge in some reality TV. Our new favorite reality TV show is Pregnant in Heels on Bravo with Rosie Pope. It’s not hard to understand why, seeing as we’re constantly surrounded by maternity clothes and pregnant women. While it is true that most women experience increased acne during pregnancy, one myth we are here to bust is that the appearance of this acne means you are having a girl. There is no medical proof linking the two together. We love the sound of these myths because we get to add meaning to an otherwise biological phenomenon.
