Belly Dance does extensive research and partners with designers to provide customers with an assortment to meet many tastes at a broad range of prices, including exclusive pieces.

In 2003, Belly Dance branched out to Highland Park, Illinois and opened its online store, and recent expansion brought Belly Dance to New York City’s trendy West Village neighborhood. Belly Dance has generated quite a buzz among expecting fashionistas in addition to receiving wide-ranging media interest, including best maternity store in Chicago Magazine, exposure in national magazines such as ePregnancy, Us Weekly, and Life and Style, and numerous television appearances.

Designers range from revered and high-end, such as Chaiken, Diane von Furstenberg, Earl Jean, and Citizens of Humanity, to edgy and up-and-coming, like ChiaraKruza, Juliet Dream, and Naissance Maternity, to maternity staples, such as Japanese Weekend and Noppies.
