Our improved website allows customers to shop at Belly Dance Maternity, Belly Dance Baby, and NOM storefronts and place items from all stores into one shopping cart. This means customers only receive one shipping charge for the order as well, making it a better shopping experience. Customers can move from store to store, shopping from all three in one visit.
Sizing Information
In general, we advise that you order your pre-pregnancy size. However, some designers may fit a bit differently, so we strongly recommend that you read the product information provided with each style, where we note relevant sizing information. When ordering denim (which is sized 25-32), we often suggest that you order one size up from your pre-pregnancy size unless otherwise noted.
Most items are sized using the following size chart:
Size 2-4 = XS; Size 4-6= Small; Size 6-8 = Medium; Size 10-12 = Large; Size 12-14 = XL
In addition, please feel to call or email us with any questions about sizing, as our team is well-versed in how things fit.
Availability
We try to keep the site updated with availability. However, there are circumstances where we have sold out of an item after you have placed your order. For this reason, Belly Dance cannot always guarantee the availability of products. Once we receive your order, we will notify you via email if there are discrepancies. In addition, there are times when we will be reordering a sold out product, so please feel free to call or email us if you have a specific question.

Belly Dance accepts the following credit cards: Visa, Master Card, and American Express. We do not accept personal checks.
Gift Certificates
Belly Dance offers both online or in store gift certificates. Belly Dance will email online gift certificates to recipients with a code to be redeemed online, and we can send in store gift certificates to customers who will be shopping in our stores.
Gift Wrapping
We offer gift wrapping for an additional $5. Customers are able to select the gift wrapping option at checkout, and there is also a place to enter a gift message for the recipient.
Registry
Belly Dance is happy to have introduced our registry. Customers are able to add items from Belly Dance Maternity, Belly Dance Baby, and NOM, and others are able to shop from this registry.
Shipping
Orders placed Monday-Friday before 3 PM CT will begin processing that day, excluding holidays, and usually ship within 1 business day. All orders placed after 3 PM CT will begin processing the next business day. Orders placed on Friday after 3 PM CT will begin processing on the following Monday. Belly Dance will contact you with a follow-up email if the merchandise you have selected is not available or if we need additional information for credit verification or international orders.
We ship using UPS with standard ground service (5 to 7 business days). Customers have the option to expedite orders with three day or overnight shipping for an additional charge. UPS is unable to deliver to APO/FPO addresses or P.O. Boxes. We do not offer Saturday delivery.
Please note that delivery time does not include weekend days or holidays.

Shipping Surcharges
Oversized items, such as wall décor, are more expensive to ship because they are heavier and/or bulkier than normal items. The drop-shipped items are delivered directly from our manufacturers, so a surcharge is applied to cover the vendor's shipping costs. Such charges will be clearly noted during checkout and prior to confirmation of your purchase.
International Shipments
We offer international delivery to over 60 countries. International orders are not guaranteed to ship the next business day due to additional verification that is often necessary. We usually email customers about international deliveries to confirm acceptance of duties and customs charges.
Currently shipping to Canada is $25, and to most other countries is $60. This is for 10-14 business days, and does not include customs charges imposed by individual countries. Please understand that Belly Dance cannot be responsible for additional customs costs incurred. International shipping rates are calculated based on the destination and final weight of package. We will email for customer approval if the international shipping rate is different than noted on site.
Risk of loss and title for merchandise shipped internationally will pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier. Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. You will be responsible for paying additional charges for customs clearance; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; please contact your local customs office for further information. Additionally, when ordering from Belly Dance, you are the importer and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country. You authorize us to designate a carrier to act as your agent with the relevant customs and tax authorities in the destination country, to clear your merchandise and advance (on your behalf) any duties and taxes owed by you.
Refused Shipments
If you decide to refuse any shipments from Belly Dance, you are responsible for the original shipping charges to you, any duties, taxes and/or customs charges that are incurred on the package (on both the original and return shipments), and the cost of returning the package to Belly Dance. This amount will be subtracted from your merchandise refund.
Order Tracking
Once you have completed an order, we will email you a link that will allow you to track the status of your order. Once you receive that link and your tracking number, you can go to UPS to track your order.
Returns and Exchanges
We want you to be happy with your purchase. Within 21 days of purchase, we accept returns on non-sale and non-damaged items for full refund to your credit card, minus shipping charges. All items must be returned in original condition, with no damage to items or item packaging. We must receive the item in perfectly saleable condition. All claims regarding damages, including drop shipped items, must be reported within 7 days.
Please note that sale items can be returned for online store credit unless noted as final sale, in which case they cannot be returned. Upon receiving the returned merchandise, Belly Dance will email a code to be used toward your next online purchase. Final sale items (such as outlet and deeply discounted items) cannot be returned, and this will be marked clearly within product description online.
To send a return, simply follow the instructions on the invoice included with your package. Securely pack and seal the return merchandise and return slip in a shipping box or envelope, and send using an INSURED service in order to track it, as we cannot accept responsibility for packages that we do not ship ourselves.
All returns must be postmarked within 21 days. Returns sent after this time will not be honored - no exceptions. Belly Dance does not refund initial shipping charges or shipping charges for any returns or exchanges.

Belly Dance is not responsible for damages that occur from washing, cleaning, wear and tear, or general use. This includes damages incurred during the return shipping process. No exceptions.
Credit Card Refund
Once your package has been received, your refund will be processed in the original form of payment within five business days. You will be notified via email when this transaction has taken place. Please note that your banking institution may require additional days to process and post this transaction to your account once they have received the information from Belly Dance.
Sales Tax
8% sales tax applies to Illinois customers only.
